Carol Thomas is a Dallas based personal trainer, injury prevention specialist, and
running coach with more than 30 years of experience as an athlete and coach. She
is a Cooper Certified Personal Trainer, RRCA Level II Certified Running Coach, and
NASM Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement Specialist. She is also
a Certified Rock Tape kinesiotaping PMT.
Carol graduated from Baylor University and has done graduate work in kinesiology
at The University of North Texas. She was a five-sport letterman in high school and
played soccer and ran track at Baylor. She has coached high school, college, and
adult runners. She also coached a high school soccer team to the state finals. The
Dallas Morning News named her Coach of the Year.
Carol continues to run and play soccer. In 2011, her women's soccer team won the
national tournament. Her running achievements include masters and age group
division titles from 5ks to half-marathons. She also has marathon, duathlon, and
triathlon experience.
When not involved with sports, Carol enjoys being active outdoors, cooking, savoring
a good cup of tea, studying the Bible, and spending time with her family.
