Carol Thomas is a Dallas-based personal trainer, injury prevention specialist, and running coach with more than 40 years of experience as an athlete and coach. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, RRCA Level II Certified Running Coach, and NASM Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement Specialist. She is also Sportsmetrics certified and is a Certified Rock Tape Kinesiotape PMT. She has coached junior high, high school, college, and adult athletes.
Her women's soccer team won the USASA national tournament in 2011. Her running achievements include masters and age group division titles from 5ks to half-marathons. She also has marathon, duathlon, and triathlon experience.
Carol graduated from Baylor University, where she played club soccer and ran track. She has done graduate work in kinesiology at The University of North Texas. She coached a 5A high school soccer team to the state finals.The Dallas Morning News named her Coach of the Year. Carol also was a five-sport letterman in high school.
In addition to sports, Carol enjoys hiking, cooking, attending Bible study, and spending time with family.
